What is a Virtual Assistant?

A Virtual Assistant or also known as a Virtual Contractor is a business owner who provides business support services in all different areas of expertise. Each Virtual Assistant offers different types of services within their own business from a remote location. (Sometimes onsite but is negotiated with a few) Some Virtual Assistants may have several years of education/trained or have worked in previous employment roles such as administration, secretarial, PA and executive support, sales, bookkeepers, social media, marketing, copywriters, website designing, reception, proofreader for authors, customer service, databases, Audio and Video Editing, Podcasting, Diary Management, Email Management, Event Organisers, Graphic Designers, HR and recruiting, Transcription and more. A Virtual Assistant will charge at their own rates as to their own expertise.
